Two cedar limbs on either side of the solid cedar slab that is at the center of the seat for this chair forms a comfortable resting "cup". The right arm of the chair holds a cedar slab of smaller diameter that may serve as a mini-side table/beverage holder. The back is fashioned from cedar roots, as is the swirled cross-piece serving as a front chair rung. The artist's intent was to design a piece with a "rickety" appearance, looking as though it leans to one side, while actually providing a sturdy chair with a level seat. Tung oil matte finish.
